Abstract

Review artikel ini memfokuskan pada analisis penggunaan model pembelajaran inkuiri sebagai strategi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa. Metode naratif review digunakan untuk mengevaluasi 16 jurnal terkait penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri. Dari hasil review, terungkap bahwa model-model yang sering digunakan adalah guided inquiry learning dan structured inquiry learning. Pendekatan ini kemudian diterapkan untuk mengukur kemampuan siswa, termasuk kemampuan berpikir kritis, pemecahan masalah, dan hasil belajar secara umum. Analisis menyimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri memberikan dampak positif dalam konteks pembelajaran. Dengan melibatkan siswa dalam proses penyelidikan aktif, model inkuiri memungkinkan mereka untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Selain itu, model ini juga meningkatkan hasil belajar secara keseluruhan. Implikasinya adalah bahwa pendekatan inkuiri dapat menjadi pilihan yang efektif bagi pendidik untuk memperkuat pengalaman belajar siswa dan meningkatkan pencapaian akademik mereka. Studi lebih lanjut dapat fokus pada pengembangan praktik terbaik dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri di berbagai konteks pendidikanThis review article focuses on analyzing the use of the inquiry-based learning model as a strategy to enhance students' abilities. The narrative review method is used to evaluate 16 journals related to the application of the inquiry-based learning model. From the review results, it is revealed that the frequently used models are guided inquiry learning and structured inquiry learning. This approach is then applied to measure students' abilities, including critical thinking, problem-solving, and overall learning outcomes. The analysis concludes that the inquiry-based learning model has a positive impact in the learning context. By involving students in active investigative processes, the inquiry model enables them to develop critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities. Additionally, this model also enhances overall learning outcomes. The implication is that the inquiry approach can be an effective choice for educators to reinforce students' learning experiences and improve their academic achievements. Further studies could focus on developing best practices in implementing the inquiry-based learning model in various educational contexts.
