AbstrakSektor pertanian memiliki peran strategis dalam perekonomian nasional melalui kontribusinya terhadap Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB), penyediaan pangan, dan penyerapan tenaga kerja. Namun, peningkatan aktivitas ekonomi di sektor ini berpotensi meningkatkan emisi karbon dioksida (CO₂), terutama apabila pertumbuhan produksi belum sepenuhnya mengadopsi prinsip keberlanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) sektor pertanian terhadap emisi CO₂ sektor pertanian di Indonesia selama periode 2003–2023, serta mengeksplorasi potensi pertanian regeneratif sebagai solusi menuju target net zero emission 2060. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi linear sederhana berbasis data deret waktu periode 2003-2023. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa PDB sektor pertanian berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap emisi CO₂, dengan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 73,7%. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan pertumbuhan ekonomi sektor pertanian cenderung diikuti oleh peningkatan emisi karbon. Oleh karena itu, penerapan pertanian regeneratif yang menekankan pemulihan kesehatan tanah, pelestarian keanekaragaman hayati, serta efisiensi penggunaan input menjadi strategi penting dalam mendukung pembangunan rendah karbon, sejalan dengan kerangka green economy dan tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan.Kata kunci: PDB Sektor Pertanian, Emisi CO₂, Pertanian Regeneratif.AbstractThe agricultural sector plays a strategic role in national economic development through its contribution to Gross Domestic Product (GDP), food provision, and employment generation. However, increasing agricultural economic activities may lead to higher carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions, particularly when production expansion is not accompanied by sustainable practices. This study aims to analyze the effect of agricultural GDP on CO₂ emissions from the agricultural sector in Indonesia during the period 2003–2023, and to explore the potential of regenerative agriculture as a pathway toward achieving net zero emissions by 2060. A quantitative approach was employed using simple linear regression analysis based on time-series data for the period 2003-2023. The results indicate that agricultural GDP has a positive and statistically significant effect on CO₂ emissions, with a coefficient of determination of 73.7%. These findings suggest that economic growth in the agricultural sector tends to be associated with increased carbon emissions. Therefore, the adoption of regenerative agriculture practices emphasizing soil health restoration, biodiversity conservation, and efficient input use is essential to support low-carbon agricultural development, in line with the green economy framework and the sustainable development goals.Keywords: Agricultural GDP; CO₂ Emissions; Regenerative Agriculture.
