This study aims to determine the improvement of receptive skills of PBSI FKIP UMK students using the Audiolingual method. The problem faced by PBSI FKIP UMK students is the lack of receptive skills in English. The solution offered is to use the Audiolingual method which can improve students' receptive skills. This type of research uses classroom action research with a design of each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were 30 PBSI FKIP UMK students. The instruments used were observation, documentation, and receptive skills tests. The results showed that the average score of students' receptive skills increased from 60.00 to 70.00 in cycle 1 and to 80.00 in cycle 2. The number of students who achieved a minimum score of 70 also increased from 50% to 83.33%. The conclusion of this study is that the Audiolingual method can improve the receptive skills of PBSI FKIP UMK students. Thus, the Audiolingual method can be used as an alternative to improve students' receptive skills. This research is expected to contribute to the development of more effective language learning methods.
