<![CDATA[Household food security in rural areas still faces challenges due to the low utilization of home gardens as independent food sources, including in Singodutan Village, which has considerable yard potential that has not been optimally utilized. This community service activity aimed to strengthen household food security through a household crop program based on home garden utilization. The implementation method employed participatory and educational approaches consisting of observation, socialization, training in crop cultivation, mentoring, and activity evaluation. The results showed an increase in community knowledge and skills in home garden cultivation techniques, improved utilization of home gardens as productive land, and the availability of some household vegetable and spice needs from self-cultivation. The program also had an initial impact on reducing household food expenditures and strengthening community social interaction. Overall, the community service activity demonstrates that home garden utilization through a household crop program is effective in improving household independence and food security. Therefore, this program has the potential to be sustainably developed as a community empowerment model based on local resources in rural areas.]]>
