<![CDATA[Professional ethics plays an important role in maintaining the integrity and credibility of advocates in criminal case assistance. Advocates have responsibilities not only toward clients but also toward the law and justice. Ethical violations committed by advocates may reduce public trust in the legal system. This study aims to analyze the implementation of advocate professional ethics in criminal case assistance in Indonesia. The research uses a normative juridical method through statutory and conceptual approaches. The findings indicate that advocate ethics are essential to ensure professionalism, independence, confidentiality, and accountability in legal services. However, violations of the advocate code of ethics are still frequently found in legal practice, including conflicts of interest, manipulation of evidence, and unethical communication with law enforcement officers. The study concludes that strengthening ethical supervision and professional education is necessary to improve the quality of advocate services in Indonesia.]]>
