This study aims to improve the poster-making skills of students of class XI A2 Phase F of SMA Negeri 5 Jambi City through the implementation of the Canva application as a digital-based learning media. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 36 students. Data were collected through observation, skills tests, and documentation, then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively with a success indicator of at least 75% of students obtaining a score of ≥70. The results of the study showed a significant increase in students' skills in making posters after using Canva. In the first cycle, students began to adapt to Canva's features, while in the second cycle there was an increase in creativity, design accuracy, layout, and the ability to compose more attractive and communicative visual messages. The novelty of this study lies in the systematic application of Canva in the CAR model to integrate digital design skills with Indonesian language learning on poster material based on the Merdeka Curriculum. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the Canva application is effective in improving poster-making skills while encouraging students' creativity and digital literacy.
