Abstract

The Zmart Program initiated by BAZNAS in DKI Jakarta represents an innovation in productive zakat aimed at fostering the sustainable transformation of mustahik into muzaki. This study examines the effectiveness and managerial strategies of the program using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were derived from the 2024 Zakat Impact Assessment, in-depth interviews with program facilitators, and a review of relevant literature. The findings indicate a high level of program effectiveness, supported by key success factors such as intensive mentoring, multi-stakeholder collaboration, digital innovation, and spiritual strengthening. However, the program also faces challenges, including competition with modern retail chains, dependency on facilitators, and the need for sustainable funding. Strengthening strategies proposed include further digitalization, the establishment of Zmart cooperatives, and the integration of academic research. Overall, the study confirms that productive zakat can function as a viable instrument for economic and spiritual empowerment and as a replicable model for urban poverty alleviation.
