The lack of students’ awareness in maintaining environmental cleanliness and the suboptimal use of trash bins became problems at SDN Locare 1. This community service activity aimed to improve students’ knowledge and behavior in waste management through education and direct practice. The method used was mixed-methods consisting of planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. The activities included observation, interviews, interactive video-based learning, discussions, waste sorting practices, and making trash bins from used materials. Evaluation was conducted using pretests and posttests as well as observations of students’ behavior. The results showed an increase in students’ understanding, with the average pretest score improving from 52.86% to 76.67% in the posttest. In addition, students became more accustomed to disposing of waste according to its type and showed greater concern for school environmental cleanliness. This activity successfully improved environmental awareness and clean and healthy living behavior among elementary school students.
