This study aims to analyze the internalization process of Pela Gandong values and their contribution to shaping the social character of students at Pondok Pesantren Mambaus Sholihin 4 Hollo. Pela Gandong is a local wisdom of the Maluku community that emphasizes brotherhood, solidarity, mutual cooperation, tolerance, and social responsibility. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving caregivers, teachers, and students of the Islamic boarding school. The data were analyzed using the interactive analysis model of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the internalization of Pela Gandong values is carried out through habituation, exemplary behavior, social interaction, and daily boarding school activities. These values are not formally taught as a specific subject, but are integrated into the daily life of students through communal living patterns. The internalization process contributes significantly to the development of students’ social character, particularly in terms of social awareness, togetherness, tolerance, mutual assistance, and responsibility. This study concludes that the integration of local wisdom values with Islamic boarding school education can become an effective strategy for strengthening students’ social character in multicultural societies. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses internalisasi nilai-nilai Pela Gandong serta kontribusinya dalam membentuk karakter sosial santri di Pondok Pesantren Mambaus Sholihin 4 Hollo, Maluku Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap ustadz, ustadzah, dan santri. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa internalisasi nilai Pela Gandong berlangsung secara berkelanjutan melalui pembiasaan hidup bersama, kegiatan keagamaan, interaksi sosial, serta keteladanan para pendidik di lingkungan pesantren. Nilai-nilai yang terinternalisasi meliputi persaudaraan, kebersamaan, toleransi, gotong royong, solidaritas sosial, dan tanggung jawab sosial. Internalisasi nilai tersebut berkontribusi dalam membentuk karakter sosial santri, seperti sikap peduli terhadap sesama, kemampuan bekerja sama, menghargai perbedaan, dan menjaga hubungan sosial yang harmonis. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi kearifan lokal Pela Gandong dengan pendidikan pesantren dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam penguatan pendidikan karakter sosial santri berbasis budaya lokal dan nilai-nilai keislaman.
