This article aims to develop a community-based model to strengthen Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by providing entrepreneurship training to Aisyiyah cadres at the Sukodono Branch, Sidoarjo. The main issues identified include a weak entrepreneurial mindset, limited product innovation, and low business sustainability, which have so far remained survival-based. Using a Community-Based Empowerment approach, this programme involved stages of needs identification, participatory training, and systematic evaluation with pre- and post-tests. The results of the activities showed a very significant increase in capacity across all performance indicators, all of which fell into the "High" category. The highest increase was recorded in understanding legal aspects (PIRT and Halal) at 66%, followed by product innovation and marketing at 59%, and mindset change at 57%. In addition to individual capacity building, this initiative successfully strengthened social capital by fostering support networks, trust, and collaboration among community members. In conclusion, the community-based SME empowerment model has proven to be more effective and sustainable than individual approaches, as it harnesses the strength of organisational networks to drive women’s economic growth.
