Kain perca merupakan salah satu limbah tekstil yang sering kali tidak dimanfaatkan secara optimal dan berpotensi menambah timbulan sampah rumah tangga. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam memanfaatkan kain perca menjadi produk kreatif bernilai ekonomis seperti tas, sandal, dan taplak meja. Sosialisasi dilaksanakan di TPS3R Huntap Tondo 1 dengan peserta yang terdiri dari mahasiswa Teknik Lingkungan dan pengelola TPS3R. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi penyampaian materi, demonstrasi pembuatan produk, diskusi interaktif, serta praktik sederhana pengolahan kain perca. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pesertamemiliki antusiasme tinggi terhadap pemanfaatan limbah tekstil sebagaiproduk kerajinan yang dapat mendukung pengurangan sampah sekaligusmeningkatkan nilai ekonomi. Selain itu, kegiatan ini memberikanpemahaman mengenai konsep reduce, reuse, dan recycle (3R) dalampengelolaan sampah berkelanjutan. Melalui kegiatan ini diharapkanpeserta mampu menerapkan keterampilan yang diperoleh secara mandiriserta mengembangkan inovasi produk berbahan dasar kain perca dilingkungan masyarakat. Fabric scraps are a type of textile waste that is often underutilized and has the potential to increase household waste. This community service activity aims to improve participants' knowledge and skills in utilizing fabric scraps into creative, economically valuable products such as bags, sandals, and tablecloths. The outreach program was held at the TPS3R Huntap Tondo 1 with participants consisting of Environmental Engineering students and TPS3R managers. The implementation method included material delivery, product-making demonstrations, interactive discussions, and simple practices for processing fabric scraps. The results of the activity showed that participants were highly enthusiastic about utilizing textile waste as craft products that can support waste reduction while increasing economic value. In addition, this activity provided an understanding of the concept of reduce, reuse, and recycle (3R) in sustainable waste management. Through this activity, it is hoped that participants will be able to apply the skills they have acquired independently and develop innovative products made from fabric scraps in the community.
