AbstrakYayasan Pendidikan Saadiyah di Lombok Tengah merupakan lembaga berbasis pesantren yang mengembangkan usaha produktif pada sektor budidaya jahe . Namun, kegiatan tersebut masih menghadapi kendala pada aspek teknis, khususnya proses pascapanen jahe yang belum efisien sehingga berdampak pada kualitas dan kuantitas produk. Selain itu, limbah jahe berupa batang, daun dan sisa akar jahe belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan dan mengoptimalkan penggunaan mesin pembersih jahe sebagai teknologi tepat guna guna meningkatkan efisiensi proses pascapanen, kualitas produk, dan kapasitas mitra. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi dan demonstrasi langsung penggunaan alat yang melibatkan sekitar 20 peserta. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan melalui pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur peningkatan pengetahuan peserta. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta dari nilai rata-rata 45,5 menjadi 92,00, dengan hasil uji statistik menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan. Selain itu, peserta mampu mengoperasikan dan merawat mesin secara mandiri serta memahami peluang usaha berbasis jahe. Pemahaman peserta terhadap pemanfaatan limbah jahe juga meningkat, khususnya dalam pengolahan limbah menjadi pupuk organik. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan efisiensi proses pasca panen, keterampilan teknis, serta kesiapan mitra dalam mengembangkan usaha jahe secara berkelanjutan berbasis agroindustri. However, these activities still face technical constraints, particularly in the postharvest processing of ginger, which remains inefficient and affects both product quality and quantity. In addition, ginger waste in the form of stems, leaves, and residual roots has not been optimally utilized. This community service activity aims to implement and optimize the use of a ginger cleaning machine as an appropriate technology to improve postharvest efficiency, product quality, and partner capacity. The methods employed include socialization and direct demonstration of the equipment, involving approximately 20 participants. The evaluation was conducted using pretest and posttest methods to measure participants' knowledge improvement. The results showed a significant increase in participants’ knowledge, with the average score rising from 45.5 to 92.00, supported by statistical analysis indicating a significant difference. Furthermore, participants were able to operate and maintain the ginger cleaning machine independently and gained a better understanding of ginger-based business opportunities. Participants’ awareness of ginger waste utilization also improved, particularly in processing waste into organic fertilizer. Overall, this activity had a positive impact on improving postharvest efficiency, technical skills, and the readiness of partners to develop sustainable ginger-based agroindustry.
