Digital technology transformation has changed the patterns of communication, education, da’wah, and religious authority within contemporary Muslim societies. The presence of social media and digital platforms makes access to Islamic information easier, but it also gives rise to issues such as religious hoaxes, digital radicalism, social polarization, and a crisis of scholarly authority. Previous research has generally focused on the utilization of digital technology in da'wah and Islamic education, while studies on Muslim intellectual responses in the aspects of epistemology, digital ethics, and the reconstruction of Islamic thought remain limited. This study aims to analyze the intellectual responses of Muslims to the transformation of digital technology from the perspective of contemporary Islam. This study employs a library research method with a qualitative approach involving the review of various scientific literatures. The research results show that Muslim intellectual responses are divided into adaptive, critical, and integrative paradigms. The novelty of this research lies in the analysis of the reconstruction of Muslim intellectual responses through the strengthening of Islamic digital ethics, digital literacy based on Islamic values, and the principle of wasathiyah in facing modern digital society. This research emphasizes that digital transformation needs to be directed as a means of building an Islamic civilization that is moderate, humanistic, and grounded in Islamic moral-spiritual values.
