The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) provides various conveniences in people's lives, but on the other hand, it also increases the risk of spreading hoaxes and digital fraud that are increasingly difficult to recognize. Low digital literacy causes some people to still have difficulty distinguishing correct information from misleading information, so educational efforts are needed to improve people's ability to filter information. This Community Service Activity (PKM) aims to increase public understanding of the importance of digital literacy, introduce various forms of hoaxes and AI-based fraud, and provide education on how to verify information before believing or spreading it. The activity was carried out in Sukabares Village, Waringinkurung District, Serang Regency using socialization and education methods which include observation, material delivery, discussions, question and answer sessions, and case examples. The results of the activity show that some people still have difficulty distinguishing valid information from hoaxes and do not fully understand various modes of AI-based digital fraud. Through socialization activities, participants gained an understanding of the importance of applying the principle of filtering before sharing, verifying information sources, recognizing various forms of hoaxes and digital fraud, and using technology wisely and responsibly. The enthusiasm of participants during the activity shows that digital literacy education is still very much needed as an effort to increase public awareness in facing the development of digital technology.
