This study was motivated by the phenomenon of moral degradation among students as a result of the rapid development of digital technology, such as declining language ethics, reduced learning concentration due to excessive gadget use, and the emergence of aggressive behavior imitated from digital media. This study aimed to analyze the strategies used by Islamic Education (PAI) teachers in addressing students’ moral challenges in the digital era. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data sources were obtained from PAI teachers, the school principal, students, and school documents at SD Negeri Cikumpa, Depok City. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The main theoretical foundation used in this study was Henry Mintzberg’s 5P Strategy Theory, consisting of Plan, Ploy, Pattern, Position, and Perspective. The results showed that the strategies implemented by PAI teachers at SD Negeri Cikumpa included: (1) integrating digital ethics into learning activities; (2) applying responsive actions toward students’ behavioral deviations; (3) habituating moral and religious values; (4) positioning teachers as role models; and (5) instilling Islamic values as the main foundation in facing the digital era. These strategies were considered effective in shaping students’ character and moral independence amid the challenges of digital technological development.
