This research is motivated by the low social skills of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 018 Rambah Hilir, which is seen from the lack of cooperation, low empathy, and students' difficulty in communicating effectively in groups. The purpose of this study is to improve students' social skills through the application of the simulation method. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, where each cycle consists of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study are all fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 018 Rambah Hilir. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation of student activities and documentation. The research results show that the implementation of the simulation method significantly improves students' social skills. This is evidenced by the increase in the percentage of social skills mastery from cycle I to cycle II. This improvement indicates a change in students' behavior, becoming more active in interaction, able to appreciate others' opinions, and more confident when performing social role simulations. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the simulation method is effective in enhancing the social skills of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 018 Rambah Hilir.
