This study aims to comprehensively examine the influence of the 5S method—consisting of Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, and Shitsuke—on improving work productivity among MSMEs participating in the Productivity Guidance and Consultancy Program organized by BPVP Bantaeng. A descriptive-quantitative approach was employed to systematically capture empirical conditions through data collection methods, including structured questionnaires and interviews. The research population consisted of 95 employees from 10 MSMEs, all of whom were included in the sample because the total population was fewer than 100, thus categorizing this study as population-based research. The results of the analysis indicate that the regression model produced a coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.726, suggesting that the combined influence of Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, and Shitsuke accounts for 72.6% of the variation in employee productivity. Partially, Seiri, Seiton, and Shitsuke were found to have a positive and significant effect on productivity, demonstrating that proper sorting, orderly workplace organization, and disciplined work habits contribute substantially to improving efficiency and performance. Conversely, Seiso and Seiketsu did not show significant effects, suggesting that employees have not fully internalized aspects of cleanliness and standardization. These findings emphasize that the successful implementation of the 5S method requires not only technical application but also consistent behavioral reinforcement and collective participation to achieve optimal productivity improvements within MSMEs.
