Education is an essential need in shaping superior human resources capable of facing global challenges. This study aims to examine human resource management (HRM) through the recruitment of lecturers and educational staff at STIT Muara Enim and its impact on the quality of education. The method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collected through non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The research informants consist of lecturers, educational staff, the head of STIT, and the head of the Quality Assurance Center. The results show that the recruitment process at STIT Muara Enim is systematic and structured, involving various parties in determining HR needs according to the institution’s vision and mission. The establishment of recruitment standards and criteria is carried out in a tiered manner with the support of formal documentation and supervision by the Quality Assurance Center. Continuous competency development and coaching are also important focuses to maintain the quality of teaching and educational staff. This study concludes that effective HR management through recruitment and professional development significantly contributes to enhancing the quality of education at STIT Muara Enim. Strategic recommendations are provided to strengthen HR management to support a quality and adaptive education system in line with the times.
