The synergy between Islamic Education (PAI) lecturers and students’ guardians plays a crucial role in shaping students’ religious character within higher education institutions. In practice, character development is not solely the responsibility of the campus, but also requires active involvement from the family as the primary educational environment. However, field observations indicate that the relationship between lecturers and students’ guardians has not been optimally established, resulting in less effective character development among students. This study aims to analyze the forms of synergy between PAI lecturers and students’ guardians, as well as the factors influencing the effectiveness of this collaboration in shaping students’ character. This research employs a qualitative approach with a field study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that synergy between PAI lecturers and students’ guardians can be realized through intensive communication, joint supervision of students’ academic and religious activities, and the use of digital communication platforms such as online groups. In addition, supporting factors such as parents’ educational background, economic conditions, and social environment also influence the success of character development. This study emphasizes that harmonious collaboration between the campus and families is essential in fostering students who are religious, responsible, and possess strong character.
