Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian mengenai pengaruh panjang stack bahan alami (serat nanas), dan bahan non-alami (benang wool) pada system termoakustik gelombang tegak dengan menggunakan resonator berbentuk silinder (sistem standing wave). Hasil yang diperoleh adalah bahwa telah terjadi perubahan suhu pada tandon di kiri - kanan stack bahan alami serat nanas maupun stack bahan non-alami benang wool, sebagai tandon panas dan dingin. Penurunan suhu tandon dingin menggunakan jenis stack serat nanas (7 cm) dengan penurunan suhu sebesar (12,6 ± 0,1) °C, dan stack benang wool (8 cm) sebesar (15,7 ± 0,1) °C. Dengan demikian telah terwujud sebuah pendingin termoakustik menggunakan stack serat nanas atau benang wool dengan panjang optimum serta ditambahkannya penukar kalor yang dialiri air dalam rangkameningkatkan kinerja sistem.AbstractAn experiment of the influence of the length of a natural (pineapple fibers) and an unnatural (wool) stack materials on a cylindrical resonator and by using a standing wave thermoacoustic system has been done. As a result is a temperature changed on the left and the right reservoirs, so called a hot and a cool reservoirs, of the stack, which is pineapple fibers as a natural or wool as an unnatural substance. The decreasing temperature in the cool reservoir by using pineapples fibers as a stack for 7 cm long isaround (12,6 ± 0,1) °C and by using a wool stack (8 cm long) is around (15,7 ± 0,1) °C. So that The thermoacoustics cooling system using pineapples fibers or wool as a stack substance with the optimum length of stack and also a water exchanger, which can increase the performance of the system, has been performed.
