<![CDATA[Pengabdian masyarakat di Desa Wedoro, Kecamatan Waru, Kabupaten Sidoarjo berfokus pada penyusunan dan publikasi buku berjudul History of Wedoro (Jejak Sejarah di Tanah Leluhur). Buku ini menggambarkan perjalanan sejarah Desa Wedoro mulai dari masa pra-Islam hingga era Islam, mencakup asal-usul nama, tokoh berpengaruh, perkembangan sosial budaya, serta proses islamisasi di wilayah tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur, wawancara dengan tokoh masyarakat, serta penelusuran catatan sejarah lokal. Hasil kegiatan berupa dokumentasi sejarah yang lebih sistematis, yang tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana edukasi bagi masyarakat desa tetapi juga sebagai referensi akademik untuk penelitian selanjutnya. Program ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya menjaga dan melestarikan nilai budaya serta sejarah lokal. Community service in Wedoro Village, Waru District, Sidoarjo Regency, focused on the compilation and publication of a book entitled History of Wedoro (Historical Traces in the Land of the Ancestors). This book describes the historical journey of Wedoro Village from pre-Islamic times to the Islamic era, covering the origins of the name, influential figures, socio-cultural developments, and the process of Islamization in the region. The methods used were literature study, interviews with community leaders, and a search for local historical records. The results of this activity are more systematic historical documentation, which not only serves as an educational tool for the village community but also as an academic reference for further research. This program is expected to increase public awareness of the importance of maintaining and preserving local cultural and historical values.]]>
