This study aims to determine hand-eye coordination as a predictor of smash ability in volleyball. This study is a correlational study. The population is 580 students of SMA Negeri 1 Kabawo, consisting of 272 males and 308 females. The sample in this study was drawn using a purposive sampling technique, namely male gender with the criteria of being able to play volleyball, totaling 35 people. The instrument used to measure hand-eye coordination is a tennis ball throwing and catching test, while the instrument used to measure smash ability is a volleyball smash ability test. The data of this study were analyzed by correlation calculations in the SPSS version 21 application. The results obtained from the hypothesis testing are that hand-eye coordination has a significant relationship with smash ability and is included in the moderate correlation. Where the rxy value = 0.481 with a significance level of 0.003 <0.05, namely hand-eye coordination contributes to smash ability in volleyball.
