<![CDATA[Abstrak - Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi sistem pakar yang menggunakan metode forward chaining untuk diagnosis penyakit lambung di Klinik Dr. Hurus. Penelitian ini didorong oleh kebutuhan akan sistem yang mampu meniru proses berpikir ahli dalam mengidentifikasi dan menentukan jenis penyakit berdasarkan gejala yang dialami pasien, terutama yang terkait dengan gangguan lambung. Sistem ini dikembangkan menggunakan dataset gejala yang diperoleh dari sumber medis terpercaya, termasuk jurnal ilmiah yang direview oleh rekan sejawat dan situs web kesehatan resmi, yang kemudian diformulasikan menjadi aturan relasional yang menghubungkan gejala dengan penyakit spesifik. Metode forward chaining diterapkan untuk secara sistematis melacak gejala secara bertahap menuju kesimpulan diagnostik. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan 50 dataset gejala pasien, dan sistem ini mencapai tingkat akurasi 92% dibandingkan dengan diagnosis yang diberikan oleh ahli medis. Hasil diagnosis yang dihasilkan oleh sistem ini dapat berfungsi sebagai referensi awal bagi pasien dalam menentukan pengobatan yang tepat atau langkah pencegahan sebelum kondisi mereka memburuk. Selain meningkatkan efisiensi diagnosis di Klinik Dr. Hurus, sistem ini juga bertujuan untuk meminimalkan potensi kesalahan manusia dan meningkatkan akurasi serta kualitas proses diagnosis.Kata kunci: Forward Chaining; Sistem Pakar; Penyakit Lambung; Diagnosis; Sistem Pendukung Keputusan; Abstract - This research examines the implementation of an expert system employing the forward chaining method for the diagnosis of gastric diseases at Dr. Hurus Clinic. The study is motivated by the need for a system capable of replicating an expert’s reasoning in identifying and determining the type of disease based on the symptoms experienced by patients, particularly those associated with gastric disorders. The system was developed using symptom datasets obtained from credible medical sources, including peer-reviewed journals and official health websites, which were subsequently formulated into relational rules linking symptoms to specific diseases. The forward chaining method was applied to systematically trace symptoms in a progressive manner toward a diagnostic conclusion. Testing was conducted using 50 patient symptom datasets, and the system achieved an accuracy rate of 92% when compared with diagnoses provided by medical experts. The diagnostic results generated by this system can serve as an initial reference for patients in determining appropriate treatment or preventive measures prior to the worsening of their condition.
