This research was motivated by the ongoing cases of bullying in schools and the ineffectiveness of information delivery by Guidance and Counseling teachers, who still rely on lectures. The purpose of this study was to develop animated video media that can help students understand the risks of bullying and to assess the appropriateness and acceptability of this media among students at SMP Negeri 3 Batang Hari. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach, encompassing preliminary studies, product development, validation by experts and practitioners, limited trials, and product standards. The research subjects were students at SMP Negeri 3 Batang Hari. Data was collected through questionnaires, observations, and interviews, and then analyzed using qualitative and quantitative methods. The findings indicated that the developed animated video was deemed appropriate based on validation by subject matter experts, media experts, and practitioners, and received positive responses from students. Therefore, animated video can be an alternative choice for conveying information to help students recognize the dangers of bullying in schools.
