This classroom action research aimed to: 1) determine the implementation of the Make and Match learning model in mathematics learning for second grade students at MI Nahdlatuth Thullab, and 2) identify the improvement in students’ understanding of solid geometry material after the application of the Make and Match learning model. The research used Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a participatory approach. In this type of CAR, the researcher was directly involved from the beginning to the end of the research process. The researcher was also present at the research location from the initial stage and understood the overall classroom situation and conditions. The evaluation results in Cycle I showed that 11 students achieved scores above 70, while 9 students scored below 70. The class average score increased to 63 compared to the initial condition average of 56.5. The percentage of students achieving the Minimum Learning Completeness Criteria (KKTP) reached 55%, compared to 40% in the initial condition. Although the target of 75% had not yet been achieved, there was a noticeable improvement. In Cycle II, 16 students achieved scores above 70, while 4 students had not yet achieved mastery. The class average score increased to 78 compared to 62.5 in Cycle I. The percentage of students achieving the KKTP increased to 80%, showing significant improvement from the 55% achieved in Cycle I. These findings indicate that the use of the Make and Match learning model improved students’ mathematics learning outcomes.
