<![CDATA[Education does not only focus on cognitive aspects but also on character building, especially religious character which becomes an important foundation in students’ lives. In the context of elementary schools, teachers play a strategic role in instilling religious values through well-planned and continuous approaches. Therefore, appropriate strategies are needed so that these values can be internalized within students. This study aims to describe and analyze teachers’ strategies in fostering students’ religious character at SD IT Nurul Iman Palembang and to identify supporting and inhibiting factors. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, involving teachers and fifth-grade students as research subjects. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that teachers’ strategies are implemented through habituation of religious activities, role modeling, integration of religious values in learning, creation of a religious environment, and providing motivation. Supporting factors include structured religious programs, collaboration, facilities and infrastructure, and parental support, while inhibiting factors include differences in students’ characteristics and limited time. These strategies are effective in fostering students’ religious character in a sustainable manner.]]>
