<![CDATA[Character education has become a crucial aspect in addressing the challenges of globalization, which is increasingly complex and dynamic. The flow of globalization brings various positive impacts, such as technological advancement and openness of information, but it also poses negative effects, including moral degradation, identity crisis, and the decline of cultural and ethical values among the younger generation. This study aims to analyze the role of character education in shaping students’ personalities so that they are able to face the challenges of globalization without losing their identity. The research employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method by examining various relevant sources such as scientific journals, books, and previous research findings. The results indicate that character education integrated into the learning process, extracurricular activities, and the school and family environment can effectively develop students’ religious values, discipline, responsibility, and integrity. Furthermore, the implementation of character education based on local cultural values is an effective strategy to counteract the negative impacts of globalization. Therefore, character education plays a strategic role in shaping a generation that is not only intellectually competent but also morally grounded. It is essential to establish synergy among schools, families, and communities to optimize the implementation of character education in the era of globalization]]>
