<![CDATA[This research is a quantitative pre-experimental study that aims to determine the effect of the Index Card Match learning model on students' understanding of the concept of plane figures before and after being given treatment. The research design used is a one group pretest–posttest design. The population in this study were all fourth-grade students of SD Inpres 7/83 Malimongeng with a sample of 20 students selected using saturated sampling techniques. The data collection technique used a written test in the form of descriptions to measure students'understanding of the concept of plane figures before and after treatment. The data analysis technique used descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the descriptive statistical analysis showed that the average pretest score of 53.30 was in the low category, while the average posttest score of 75.55 was in the high category. The results of the inferential statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test showed that the significance value was 0.001 <0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the application of the Index Card Match learning method on the understanding of the concept of plane figures of fourth-grade students of SD Inpres 7/83 Malimongeng, Bone Regency.]]>
