Character education is an important aspect of learning ssin elementary schools, especially the character of discipline. However, there are still students who lack discipline in participating in learning activities, such as arriving late, being less orderly, and not complying with school rules. One effort that schools can make to overcome this problem is through the School Literacy Movement (GLS). This study aims to analyze the strengthening of disciplined character through the School Literacy Movement in elementary school students based on the results of previous research. The method used in this study is a literature review by analyzing several SINTA-indexed national journals relevant to the research theme. Data sources were obtained through Data collection was carried out by reviewing all articles regarding the character of student discipline. which has similar research in this research report. A total of 6 journal articles were obtained from Google Scholar. Based on the literature review conducted, it can be concluded that the School Literacy Movement is able to shape the character of student discipline through reading habits before learning begins. In addition to improving reading culture, GLS also helps students become more orderly, responsible, and comply with school rules. Thus, the School Literacy Movement has an important role in strengthening the character education of discipline in elementary schools.
