<![CDATA[The development of social media in the digital era has made it easier for people to access and disseminate information, but it has also created various challenges, such as the spread of hoaxes and social polarization. Hoaxes and polarization in digital spaces have the potential to threaten national unity, reduce the quality of public discourse, and weaken social cohesion. This article aims to analyze the role of Pancasila ideology in countering hoaxes and polarization on social media. The research employs a literature review method by collecting relevant references from scientific journals, articles, and previous studies. The data were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach to examine the relationship between Pancasila values and efforts to create a healthy digital environment. The findings indicate that the values of Pancasila, including honesty, humanity, unity, deliberation, and social justice, can serve as moral foundations for addressing digital challenges. Furthermore, strengthening character education and Pancasila-based digital literacy plays an important role in enhancing people's ability to think critically, verify information, and respect diverse opinions. Therefore, the implementation of Pancasila values can be an effective strategy to combat hoaxes, reduce social polarization, and strengthen national unity in the digital era.]]>
