This study aims to examine the application of the project-based learning model, based on "Teaching at the Right Level," to improve student motivation and learning outcomes in seismic material for class X. This study employed descriptive quantitative analysis methods and a pre experimental study. The study took place at SMAN Bareng, Jombang Regency. The population was 245 students, and the sample size was 34 students in class X-4. The instruments used were multiple-choice questions and a Likert-type questionnaire for the pre- and post-tests. The results obtained from student learning outcomes were in the form of an average pre-test of 78.14 and a post-test of 91. The results of data analysis using N-gain obtained a value of 0.70 and Wilcoxon was known to be worth 0.000
