<![CDATA[This research is entitled "Representation of Marriage Norms in Sophie Aulia's Novel Azzamine: A Sociological Analysis of Alan Swingewood's Literature" which aims to describe the forms of representation of marriage norms contained in Sophie Aulia's novel Azzamine based on Alan Swingewood's sociological perspective of literature. The representation of marriage norms in this novel includes religious norms, social norms, the role of the family in marriage, and commitment and responsibility in domestic life. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with a type of library research. This research produces descriptive data in the form of words, sentences, dialogues, narratives, and events contained in Sophie Aulia's novel Azzamine, which are then analyzed using Alan Swingewood's sociological theory of literature. The results of the study show that the novel Azzamine represents marriage norms as social and religious values which are reflected through the characters' attitudes in making religious teachings as a guideline for choosing a partner, maintaining social relationships, respecting family roles, and building commitment and responsibility in domestic life. Through a sociological approach to literature, this novel functions not only as a work of fiction but also as a reflection of social life, demonstrating that marriage is a bond built on religious values, social norms, family support, and a commitment to creating a harmonious, peaceful, loving, and compassionate family.]]>
