This study aims to analyze the influence of Task Technology Fit and Perceived Usefulness on User Performance among employees of the Ministry of Hajj in West Sulawesi Province. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population for this study consists of all employees at the agency, and sampling was conducted in accordance with the research objectives. Data were collected via a closed-ended questionnaire using a Likert scale and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that Task Technology Fit has a significant partial effect on User Performance, as does Perceived Usefulness, which also has a significant partial effect on User Performance. Simultaneously, Task-Technology Fit and Perceived Usefulness were found to have a significant effect on User Performance. These findings indicate that user performance will improve if the technology used aligns with job tasks and is perceived to provide tangible benefits. Thus, organizations need to ensure that technology aligns with the needs of employees’ tasks and foster a positive perception of the system’s benefits so that user performance can improve optimally. The novelty of this study lies in testing the integration of the Task Technology Fit and Perceived Usefulness models within the specific context of public administration services at the Ministry of Hajj in West Sulawesi Province, which provides a new empirical contribution to the literature on technology adoption in the government sector.
