The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, such as Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI, presents both disruption and immense opportunities within the contemporary digital dawah landscape. This study aims to thoroughly analyze strategies for utilizing AI in constructing Islamic texts and digital dawah content, while formulating a relevant Islamic ethical framework to preserve the authenticity and sacredness of Islamic messaging. Employing a qualitative descriptive-critical method with a case study and content analysis approach, this research evaluates various implementations of AI tools by preachers and Muslim content creators. The findings indicate that effective AI utilization strategies comprise four main stages: accelerating literature research and tafsir mapping, optimizing dawah draft writing, personalizing narratives based on audience segmentation (Gen Z and Millennials), and enhancing multi-format media production efficiency. However, integrating AI into dawah carries significant ethical challenges, including the risk of digital misinformation, dehumanization of spirituality, infringement on intellectual property and scholarly chains of transmission (sanad), and AI hallucinations regarding Islamic jurisprudence. Consequently, this study proposes an AI Dawah Ethical Framework grounded in the principles of maqasid shariah, digital tabayyun, and mandatory human-in-the-loop oversight before publishing digital dawah content.
