This study aims to explore the strategic role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in shaping students' religious behavior through the routine of Dhuha prayer, as well as to identify the challenges in enhancing their internal awareness. The significance of this research is rooted in the vital position of PAI as a primary bulwark against moral decline in the era of globalization, where the Dhuha prayer serves as a tool to internalize character values and spirituality. This research employs a qualitative approach with a literature study method, synthesizing reliable literature from academic databases over the last five years through content and thematic analysis techniques. The results indicate that the habit of Dhuha prayer consistently contributes positively to the strengthening of students' discipline, noble character, and social intelligence. However, its effectiveness faces complex challenges, such as low intrinsic motivation among students, limited digital pedagogical competence of teachers, lack of support from the family environment, and difficulties in evaluating affective-spiritual aspects. This study concludes that a holistic synergy between schools and families is necessary to transform ritual compliance into independent religious consciousness.
