Islamic educational institutions, particularly pesantren, are increasingly challenged to strengthen educational quality while achieving institutional sustainability through economic independence. Although previous studies have discussed Islamic education, Islamic economics, pesantrenpreneurship, Islamic social finance, and institutional governance, these dimensions have generally been examined separately, leaving a limited understanding of how they can be integrated into a comprehensive institutional model. This study aims to develop the Islamic EduFinance Framework (IEF) as a conceptual model that integrates Islamic economics and Islamic education to support the independence of pesantren-based educational institutions. This research employed a qualitative approach using a library research design. Data were collected from books, peer-reviewed journal articles, policy documents, and other relevant scholarly publications, and analyzed through content analysis involving data reduction, categorization, conceptual synthesis, and model development. The findings propose the Islamic EduFinance Framework (IEF), consisting of six interconnected dimensions: Islamic Educational Values, Islamic Economic Literacy, Sharia Teaching Factory, Productive Educational Enterprise, Islamic Social Finance, and Sustainable Institutional Governance. These dimensions form an integrated ecosystem that leads to the realization of an Independent Islamic Educational Institution. The proposed framework contributes theoretically by enriching the discourse on the integration of Islamic education and Islamic economics and offers a practical reference for pesantren and other Islamic educational institutions in developing sustainable, productive, and financially independent educational ecosystems.
