<![CDATA[This study aims to identify the key factors influencing the interest of students at SMK Negeri 1 Kupang Barat in pursuing further studies in the Technology and Vocational Education program at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Nusa Cendana University. The study employs a quantitative approach with a descriptive research design. The population consists of all 38 Grade XII students, selected using a random sampling technique. Data collection methods included questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The research instrument utilized a Likert scale comprising 30 statement items. Validity testing confirmed that all items were valid, with calculated r-values exceeding the r-table values. Reliability testing yielded a Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient of 0.993, indicating the instrument was reliable. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics via SPSS version 25. The results indicate that student motivation, parental support, family economic conditions, the school environment, and information regarding higher education all fall into the "high" category regarding their influence on students' interest in continuing their studies. The motivation factor recorded the highest mean score (18.13), followed by family economic conditions (18.00), the school environment (17.71), and both parental support and higher education information (17.39 each). Thus, both internal and external factors collectively contribute to students' interest in pursuing higher education.]]>
