This study aims to analyze the effects of financial literacy, digital financial behavior, and income level on decision-making regarding the use of Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) services among Generation Z in Bekasi City. This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The sample consisted of 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling based on predetermined criteria. Primary data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS software. The results indicate that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on BNPL usage decisions (β = .323, p = .016). Digital financial behavior also has a positive and significant effect (β = .523, p < .001), while income level has a negative and significant effect (β = −.176, p < .001). These findings suggest that higher financial literacy and better digital financial behavior support more informed decisions regarding BNPL use. Conversely, higher income levels are associated with a lower tendency to use BNPL services. The study emphasizes the importance of financial literacy and prudent digital financial management in promoting responsible use of digital financial services.
