THE INFLUENCE OF DIGITAL COMPETENCE AND INTERNAL COMMUNICATION ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT THE BMKG REGIONAL HEADQUARTERS II CIPUTAT IN THE ERA OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY TRANSFORMATION This study aims to examine how digital competence and internal communication impact employee performance at the BMKG Regional Office II in Ciputat, amid the current wave of information technology transformation. The method used was quantitative, where data was collected through questionnaires administered to 85 permanent employees and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The findings show that, partially, digital competence has a positive and significant effect on performance. Similarly, internal communication was also found to significantly affect performance. The resulting regression equation indicates that an increase in digital competence and internal communication will be directly proportional to an increase in performance. The coefficient of determination (R square) value of 66.6% shows that these two variables are able to explain 66.6% of the variation in employee performance, while the remaining 33.4% is determined by other factors outside the research model. Thus, this research model is considered to have a fairly strong ability to explain the relationship between digital competence, internal communication, and employee performance.
