<![CDATA[Background: Asthma is a long-term or chronic respiratory condition characterised by inflammation and narrowing of the airways, leading to shortness of breath or difficulty breathing. Asthma patients generally experience difficulties with their quality of life because the condition is chronic and can flare up at any time. Purpose: To determine the relationship between age, occupation, education and allergen exposure with the quality of life of asthma patients. Method: The type of research used by the researchers was quantitative research employing a correlational analytical method. The study population comprised all asthma patients at Sarkies Aisyiyah Hospital in Kudus, totalling 27 patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. A total sampling technique was employed. The instruments used were a questionnaire on demographics and airborne allergen exposure, and the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire. Analysis was conducted using Spearman’s rank correlation test. Results: The results of the study indicate that patients in the early elderly category (46–55 years) were the most affected by asthma. Eight respondents (29.6%) were manual labourers. The majority of respondents had completed secondary school, totalling 15 people (55.6%). There were 16 respondents (59.3%) exposed to air pollution and 11 (40.7%) not exposed. The quality of life of respondents in the high category was 13 (48.1%). Conclusion: The study concluded that there is a correlation between age, education and air pollution exposure and the quality of life of asthma patients at Sarkies Aisyiyah Hospital in Kudus.
