<![CDATA[Abstrak: Permasalahan penumpukan sampah rumah tangga dan belum optimalnya pemanfaatan limbah cangkang telur ayam serta berbagai jenis tanaman herbal (polyherbal) terjadi di wilayah Rekesan, Provinsi Jawa Timur. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah limbah tersebut menjadi sabun kertas antiseptik halal bernilai ekonomi. Metode dilaksanakan melalui penyuluhan, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung pada 28 anggota Perkumpulan Al-Hidayah Rekesan Prigen. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan memberikan 10 pertanyaan pre-test/post-test, dan uji hedonik. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan signifikan, dengan persentase jawaban benar post-test mencapai 93–100% pada seluruh indikator, meningkat tajam dari 0–25% saat pre-test. Keterampilan peserta dalam melakukan formulasi sabun kertas terlihat dari produk akhir yang berhasil dibuat dan diterima dengan baik berdasarkan uji hedonik, dengan rata-rata skor pada kategori “suka” hingga “sangat suka”. Produk ini berpotensi membuka peluang usaha baru berbasis pemberdayaan masyarakat sekaligus mengurangi beban sampah lingkungan.Abstract: The issues of household waste accumulation and the suboptimal utilization of chicken eggshell waste and various types of herbal plants (polyherbal) are prevalent in the Rekesan area, East Java Province. The objective of this community service project is to enhance the community’s knowledge and skills in processing these wastes into halal antiseptic paper soap with economic value. The methods employed included outreach sessions, demonstrations, and hands-on practice with 28 members of the Al-Hidayah Rekesan Prigen Association. Evaluation was conducted using a 10-question pre-test/post-test and a hedonic test. The results showed a significant increase in knowledge, with the percentage of correct answers on the post-test reaching 93–100% across all indicators—a sharp increase from 0–25% on the pre-test. Participants’ skills in formulating paper soap were evident in the final products they successfully produced, which were well-received based on the hedonic test, with average scores ranging from “like” to “love.” This product has the potential to open up new community-empowerment-based business opportunities while reducing the environmental burden of waste.]]>
