The Red and White Cooperative Program is a strategic government initiative aim at strengthening community-based development through institution. However, publics understanding of the objectives, benefits, and business units of the cooperative remain limited. This community service activity was conducted in Cibodas Village, Tangerang City with the aim of increasing community understanding and participation of The Red and White Cooperative. The activity involved socialization, discussion and evaluation through 35 community members and micro, small and medium enterprises actors. the implementation consist of preparation, delivery of educational material, interactive discussion, and evaluation of participant responses. The results show that participants gained a better understanding of cooperation function, membership opportunities and seven business units developed under The Red and White Cooperative program. The savings and loan business unit emerged as the most attractive unit among participants. The activity also encourage positive perception regarding community participation in cooperative development. The program demonstrated that socialization and community engagement are important strategies for supporting the successful implementation of The Red and White Cooperative at the local level.
