Eco-literacy has become an essential concept in promoting environmental awareness and sustainable living. As digital educational media continue to develop, podcasts have emerged as accessible platforms for communicating and educating about environmental issues while supporting English language learning. This study aimed to analyses the representation of eco-literacy elements or domains in selected BBC Learning English podcast episodes using Capra's eco-literacy framework. the selected podcast episodes represented various eco-literacy elements, although their distribution varied across episodes. The Head element appeared most frequent, indicating a strong emphasis on environmental knowledge. In contrast, the Spirit element appeared least frequent, suggesting that emotional, ethical, and spiritual connections with nature received comparatively less attention. The variation in the representation of eco-literacy elements reflected the distributions of different topic, types, and communicative purposes of each selected podcast episode.
