<![CDATA[Group discussion is a method that requires not only students and teachers, but also students and students to interact and exchange experiences and information when solving problems. Through the group discussion method, students have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of mathematical concepts, develop critical thinking skills, and learn from other people's perspectives, which is expected to improve student learning outcomes. This research is classroom action research (PTK) with the aim of finding out improvements in student learning outcomes by applying the group discussion method. The research subjects were students of class VII F at SMP N 1 Diwek Jombang. The instruments used in the research were end-of-cycle test sheets and documentation. The research results show that the application of the group discussion method can improve the learning outcomes of class VII F students at SMP N 1 Diwek Jombang. Marked by an increase in the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes in the first cycle, it was 68.57%, increasing in the second cycle by 87.5%.]]>
