This study examines the problem of language error in outdoor media in central Singkawang. The purpose of this study is to describe language error in the use of letters, word wiriting, use of punctuation, writing of loan elements, and the form of implementation of research results in Indonesia language learning modules in school. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, namely the words found in the outdoor media. The data collection technique used is the documentation technique, namely taking data in the form of images (photos). The data analysis technique used is collection error samples and analyzing data. The data validity checking technique uses observation diligence, triangulation, and reference adequacy. The data source in this study is form images/photos on outdoor media in Central Singkawang. The data in this study relates to errors in wiriting on outdoor media in Central Singkawang. Based on the results of the study, the data obtained are language errors in wiriting letters as many as 52 data related to the use of capital letters obtained 1 data, italic obtsined 51 data. Writing words as many as 20 data related to the prepositions di, ke, and dari obtained 3 data, numbers and fogures obtained 13 data, abbreviations obtained 4 data, affixed word obtained 2 data, re form obtained 1 data. The use of punctuations as many as 12 data related to the period obtained 1 data, hypen obtained 3 data, exclamations marks 4 data, colons obtained 1 data. Writing of loan elements as many 6 data. The results of the study can be impelemented in the independent curriculum in learning Indonesia in school, namely in junior high school education units grade VIII phase D, with advertising texts, slogan, and poster.
