<![CDATA[The phenomenon of dysgraphia for first and second grade students in elementary schools has become an initial challenge faced by teachers. This study developed a textbook in the form of a printed module to provide an understanding in overcoming initial writing difficulties by using the initial writing method for students in elementary schools. This study aims to produce a product that is worthy of being obtained from expert validators and also aims to determine teacher responses and the results of product application testing. This type of research uses Research and Development with the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) development model. The MDLC development model procedure consists of the stages of Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing, and Distribution. The research instruments used were validation sheets, questionnaires, interview sheets, and initial writing tests. Data analysis techniques used qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study obtained a validation result of 89.67%, teacher response results obtained 94.83%, and test results obtained 71%. The development of beginning writing textbooks for elementary school students can have an impact on changes in the process and results of student learning and can improve teachers' professional competence.]]>
