<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of TikTok social media usage intensity on the academic grit of students at SMPN 03 Jambi City. This study used a quantitative approach with an ex post facto research type. The population in this study was 319 students in grades VII, VIII, and IX of SMPN 03 Jambi City. The study sample consisted of 178 students, determined using the Slovin formula with a purposive sampling technique. Data collection used a Likert scale questionnaire regarding the intensity of TikTok social media usage and students' academic grit. Data analysis was conducted using percentage analysis, normality test, linearity test, Spearman Rank correlation, and simple regression analysis. The results showed that the intensity of TikTok social media usage was in the low category, while the students' academic grit was in the high category. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, there was a significant effect between the intensity of TikTok social media usage on the academic grit of students at SMPN 03 Jambi City.]]>
