<![CDATA[The use of instructional media in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) is an essential factor in efforts to improve the quality and outcomes of learning. This study aims to systematically and thoroughly examine the role, types, and implications of instructional media, particularly in IRE, through a literature review. This study adopts a qualitative method in the form of a literature review by examining various sources of literature, such as scientific journal articles, books, and the results of relevant previous studies. This study also uses data collection techniques in the form of documentation and content analysis as a data analysis technique. The learning media used are audio-visual. The results of this study indicate that the use of learning media plays a crucial role in enhancing learning effectiveness; therefore, Islamic Religious Education (IRE) teachers are increasingly required to master pedagogical skills in selecting, developing, and effectively utilizing learning media.]]>
