<![CDATA[This study aims to improve the reading aloud skills of second-grade students at SD Negeri 3 Rendang through the application of the turn-taking reading method using Pop-Up Books as a teaching aid. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) project, conducted through the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were second-grade students at SD Negeri 3 Rendang. The data collection methods used were observation and testing, with observation sheets and test sheets as instruments. Data analysis in this study utilized descriptive statistical analysis. The results of this study indicate that (1) the implementation of the turn-taking reading method assisted by Pop-Up Books can improve the reading aloud skills of second-grade students at SD Negeri 3 Rendang. This is evident in the improvement in students’ learning outcomes at each stage: from the initial or pre-cycle condition with an average of 55 and a classical mastery rate of 13.33%, it increased in Cycle I to an average of 71.6 with a mastery rate of 53.33%, and reached optimal results in Cycle II with an average of 82.6 and a classical mastery rate of 93.33%. This indicates that the implemented learning approach was able to achieve the established success indicators, and (2) the guided reading method using Pop-Up Books proved effective in improving the reading aloud skills of second-grade students at SD Negeri 3 Rendang.  ]]>
