<![CDATA[This study aims to describe the factors influencing character planting in children aged 5-6 years and the media used through the application of religious and moral values at TK Dharma Wanita Dayu, Gondangrejo, Karanganyar, in the 2025/2026 academic year. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation from 20 Group B children, the principal, two teachers, and parents. Results show that character planting is influenced by internal factors (individual child characteristics) and external factors including family, school environment, social environment, and media/technology. The family factor is the most dominant. Media used include storytelling, role-playing, religious habituation activities, and reinforcement. Religious habituation such as communal prayer, Quranic verse memorization, greeting (salam), queuing, and sharing cultivate religious, disciplined, responsible, and tolerant character. Teacher role-modeling is equally critical as young children learn by imitating adult behavior.]]>
